Contemplating the Precepts in Daily Life

Facilitated by: Dharma Holder Rev. Paul Galvin, Dharma Holder Esther Sorgenfrei, and Senior Assistant Teacher Rev. Corwyn Miyagishima
The 16 Bodhisattva Precepts of the Zen Way guide and remind us of how our formal practice connects with our practice in daily life. Dharma Holder Rev. Paul Galvin, Dharma Holder Esther Sorgenfrei, and Senior Assistant Teacher Rev. Corwyn Miyagishima will lead an exploration of the precepts in a series of five meetings.
Each meeting will focus on three to four of the precepts and offer an opportunity for group discussion and sharing. We welcome anyone who is interested in finding out more about the precepts, those on the path to taking the precepts, and those who have already taken the precepts.
You may participate in one or more of the meetings. Registration is not required.
Meetings will be held Thursdays from 1 to 2 p.m. (Eastern) and held on the Boundless Way Zen Worcester Temple link.

- April 9: Three Pure Precepts
- April 23: Not Killing, Not Stealing, Not Misusing Sex
- May 7: Not Speaking Falsely, Not Intoxicating Mind and Body, Not Finding Fault with Others, Not Elevating Yourself While Abusing Others
- May 21: Not Sparing the Dharma Assets, Not Harboring Ill Will, Not Defaming the Three Treasures
