Sky Flower Zen Academy Poetry Discussions March 21 and April 4

The Sky Flower Academy occasional workshop series resumes this month with discussions of poems written in Japanese by our great  Zen ancestor, Taigu Ryōkan. These workshops are led by Alan Sanhyō Richardson, Sensei, and Senior Assistant Teacher Pierce Butler.

They will be held on two Saturdays at 10 a.m. EDT, following Sky Flower Zen’s usual 9-10 a.m. practice sessions:

• March 21: 10 – 11 a.m. EDT (selected haiku by Ryōkan)
• April 4: 10 – 11 a.m. EDT (selected waka by Ryōkan)

All Sky Flower Academy events are held via the Sky Flower Zen Zoom channel.

These workshops are free and open to all. Contributions to Boundless Way Zen Temple, the larger organization to which Sky Flower Zen belongs, are always appreciated. Please feel free to come to one or both of the practice meetings along with the workshops that follow, or to one or both of the workshops only.
